Welcome to our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, which is located at 3409 West Wyndham Lane Durham, NC 27705.

Our neighborhood is quiet with a healthy mix of families; some with children and some retired. The schools are: Elementary-Hillandale, Middle-Brogden, High-Riverside. The taxes are lower than the surrounding municipalities.

For years it has been my sanctuary and afforded me and my family years of trouble-free entertaining. Because of my love for the ocean, I will be moving to Swansboro, NC.

Please take a few minutes to review some of the unique aspects of our home:

The Interior & Ground Floor

Upstairs Area

Our Home Exterior

Our home is located in the North West area of Durham in the Whitehall development. It is convenient to travel anywhere in the area from US15-501 or I-85. The Raleigh-Durham airport is just 20 miles and less than 30 minutes away and accessible via multi-lane freeway.

Most of the home is located on one level and the home lives large.

Our home utilizes every inch of its square footage; all space has been utilized. The house was created with insight for my need for storage!!! Please take a look at the layout of the home; as you will see it is perfect!

Durham is known as the “City of Medicine” or the “Bull City.” If you don’t know much about the Durham area then please click here.

To schedule an appointment to see the house please call me at 919-622-3867.

Thank you for your consideration,
Christy Forrest

There is no wrong time to visit these meticulously landscaped gardens and the neighboring pine forest. Each season brings a palette of color from pansies, tulips, daffodils, wisteria, dogwood, magnolia, azalea, crab apple and cherry blossoms.

The next time things start to get to hectic, pack a picnic, call a friend, and relax in this beautiful natural haven. A wealth of special programs, concerts, classes and workshops are offered year-round.

Museum of Life and Science

Duke Chapel
Duke University, Durham, NC 27708-9974 · 919-684-8150

One of the architectural highlights of Duke’s campus is this striking neo-Gothic stone chapel, adorned with an English bell tower, 77 stained glass windows, and a memorial honoring James B. Duke. On weekdays, drop by between12:30pm and 1:30pm to hear the magnificent organ, or if you wish to hear the bells play, arrive at 5pm for a 15-minute recital.

Bennett Place
4409 Bennett Memorial Rd, Durham, NC 27705-2307 · 919-383-4345

WEST DURHAM. In April 1865, Generals Joseph E. Johnston and William T. Sherman met at the Bennett’s farmhouse to iron out a final settlement to the Civil War. This meeting resulted in what was the largest troop surrender of the war. Although a fire destroyed the original farmhouse and kitchen in 1921, both were carefully reconstructed in the 1960s from old sketches and photographs. A visit to this attraction offers a rich insight into our history. Picnicking is allowed on the grounds.

Eno River State Park
6101 Cole Mill Rd, Durham, NC 27705 · 919-383-1686

WESTERN DURHAM COUNTY. Located between Hillsborough and Durham, Eno River State Park offers a peaceful afternoon get-away for those seeking refuge from the never-ending bustle of city life. From canoeing and hiking to picnicking and camping, this quiet state park offers a variety of activities. If you have a North Carolina fishing license, be sure to bring your rod and reel, as Eno River State Park also permits fishing. For excellent photo opportunities, hike the strenuous four-mile long Cox’s Mountain trail. Camping permitted – call for details.

It’s true that the real name of the game in these parts is basketball — people take their hoops mighty seriously around here.

But thousands of locals and tourists continue to fill the stands each summer as the Durham Bulls play a full season in the Class A Carolina League as an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

The Bulls shot to fame on the shoulders of Kevin Costner catching for hotshot rookie pitcher Tim Robbins in the 1988 flick Bull Durham. Famous alums of the Bulls include Joe Morgan, Mark Lemke, Steve Avery, Ryan Klesko, David Justice, and Rusty Staub. The season runs early April through early September.
Duke’s men’s basketball team] is one the nation’s most successful basketball programs in the country. The team has captured three National Championships, while attending 14 Final Fours and nine Championship games. Seventy-one players have been selected in the NBA Draft, while 55 players have been honored as All-Americans. The program’s home facility is historic Cameron Indoor Stadium, considered one of the top venues in the nation.

The team’s success has been particularly outstanding over the past 25 years under coach Mike Krzyzewski (often simply called “Coach K”). Their successes include becoming the only team to win three national championships since the NCAA Tournament field was expanded to 64 teams in 1985.

About Durham

Durham, North Carolina celebrates a rich and culturally diverse history. Thought to have originally been the location of an ancient Native American village called Adshusheer, the area was settled by Scots, Irish, and British subjects in the 1700s. During the Civil War, the town was the site of one of the largest surrenders that marked the end of the war itself. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Durham became famous for its tobacco and textile operations. And today, Durham is home to two universities, thirteen historic sites, and the world’s largest university-related research and production district, Research Triangle Park, for which it is dubbed “City of Medicine, USA.”
